Is it always a good thing to be yourself? the truth about being yourself from my perspective.
Growing up into an adult and now that I am an educator, writing is my hobby! I’ve always wanted to do the right things in my life, and I always believe in fairness and equality, especially when it comes to children, but where there is unfairness and favouritism, that’s what makes me exasperated.
This doesn’t mean that I haven’t done anything wrong in my life, that I am better than everyone else, or that I have lived a sin-free life.
Not everyone likes me for that, and that’s ok, because you meet people who will adore you, and then you meet those who will hate you for no reason.
“I don’t believe in perfection and striving towards perfection because, for me, it sets me up for disappointment.”

I’ve learned that not everyone thinks like me. If I believe in helping others and doing good deeds every day, God, who created me, will raise my status on the day of judgement. Not everyone has to agree with me on this.
“I have good intentions whenever I say or do something and when I feel that it’s rightful and fair at that moment”.

I’m not saying that you should pretend to be someone you are not. What I mean is, do we know who we really are? How do you see yourself or perceive yourself as a person? People don’t see you that way, and you can say, Well, I don’t care what people think of me, but is that the absolute truth?
I am a good person, not a righteous one. I am grateful, but not all the time. I like to be around people, but not every day. I am a believer, but not everyone around me is.
May our creator beautify our character and manners, Ameen. Thanks for reading my article.
